Thanks for taking the time to visit!
My day job is coordinator of the Volunteer Service at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. Our team manages 200 volunteers across multiple RMH locations and programs as well as ongoing volunteer recruitment, training and management.
Outside of that, I create content around food, travel, and living your best life through books, journals, and notebooks.
I bring twenty-five years of experience working as a chef, restaurant reviewer, tour guide and travel writer. I’ve co authored 40 cookbooks and food guides including In the Kitchen, The Seasonal Produce Diary and The Foodie’s Guide to Melbourne, as well as hundreds of articles for newspapers and magazines.
My writing aims to inspire great home cooking and cut through the hype on what to see, eat and do while exploring the world. I highlight the must-visit places in iconic destinations as far afield as Ubud, Sydney, Tokyo, Cairo, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Melbourne, and the Gili Islands.
Along with these travel gems, I also share helpful tips and advice on living your best life—whether it's about personal growth, navigating change, boosting your health, or exploring new places.
